Skiing and snowboarding (46%), "scary" rides (41%), rope parks (39%) and rock climbing (35%) also made it to the top of extreme activities. The least popular activities were zorbing (descent in a transparent ball) and boxing (movement on springy stilts) — 10 and 11%, respectively (multiple choice of answer was possible in this question).
The majority of respondents engage in extreme activities while traveling in Russia (87%). 27% of the survey participants such hobbies cost from 10 to 20 thousand rubles per trip, 24% pay from 20 to 50 thousand rubles, and every fifth — from 5 to 10 thousand rubles.
Of those survey participants who have never tried extreme activities, 60% admitted that they would like to do so. At the same time, skydiving was the most popular response option for men (47%), and rope parks for women (40%).
The survey participants noted that they are motivated to extreme activities by thirst for new experiences (71%), the search for adrenaline (47%), the desire to overcome fears (46%) and communication with like-minded people (18%) (multiple choice of answer was possible in this question).
65% of extreme sports enthusiasts try new types of such entertainment every trip, one in five did it out of interest once or several times and do not plan more yet. And only for 15%, extreme sports are a hobby, and they engage in the same activities on a regular basis.
